Looklet

For the last 9 months, i’ve been working full-time on a project initiated by me and 4 friends(hence lack of posts here). We’ve had complete secrecy so we haven’t showed it to anyone. Until now.
Looklet.com is a digital styling studio, where you can combine every type of garment from a vast wardrobe of real clothes on a model. Striving for a “high level of fashion”, the generated render is supposed to look as close as possible to a editorial outfit photo from a magazine, and all clothes are of course from real designers.
Right now we have about 1500 items(of which about a third has been published) but we’re selecting and shooting 100-200 new every week.
The site will feature some simple community-features, you have your profile where you save your looks, you can join groups and keep check of your friends activities. We will also have editorial content, all revolving around the application. An article about a new brand will always lead to the visitor trying the brands clothes in the application.
We do however not sell any clothes. It’s all fun.
At this stage, we’re still in beta. A lot of features around the site, and a lot of clothes, are to be added before unleashing this on the public. For now, you’ll need a invite code to register and try it out.

This is FABULOUS. the photoshop/flash work is unbelievable. great concept.

i love this site and it is addictive, being a web designer there are lots of features can be developed onto this site. are you guys going to allow buy on the spot like net-a-porter?

OMG I am more than addicted to the site and I always strive to search what’s behind looklet.com and there you go! So fascinated by what you’ve claimed here, that you’re one of the 5 inventors of looklet. OMG.. I can see that the future of the site’s very bright, with growing number of users everyday. And you guys do very wonderful projects on the wardrobes. think of the most pricey stuffs in the fashion runways can finally be freed in people’s hands in remixes… omg

Hi Mr.Olle :), Thanks for making an Amazing and Superb online Styling Studio. But I Wonder, What will you do with Looklet on 31 January ? Will you deleted it? I hope no. Reallly. When will you come back to the internet with your new face? Today is 3/11/2012………..I have missed this site so much! I have Allzheimers and this is so good for my mind. I used to go to Looklet and Cotourious, now they’re both gone. The only thing left are dumb cartoony stuff for little children…yawn! Please tell me you really are coming back and when. What happened to looklet???
I just don’t understand… Millions of people enjoyed mixing and matching styles on looklet, it was THE BEST SITE EVER!!! With the awards and interviews from ‘’stylists”… It was so fun.. 
And then suddenly it’s gone with NO explanation at all. Will you please launch the site again?.. I really, really hope that you are developing a new looklet and that’s why looklet have been gone all this time. But why don’t you explain to ALL the looklet fans what’s going on??? Millions of people support you on this wonderful styling studio and just want a simple answer - ”yes there’s going to be a new looklet” OR ”no, looklet’s done for good, we’re not working on it.” Please tell us, because people are still waiting and hoping to see their favorite site again.

Please, be a decent, caring individual that does not lie to us! Are you coming back with a new virtual styling room or is your “new direction” leaving the followers sitting with nothing? You destroyed “Cotourious” and then left all Lookleteers sitting with NOTHING to play but cartoons for little children!This is NOT fair to your many, many followers! Yes, I can still go to Looklet and dress the models, but nothing changes…the same clothes, fewer than before, no saving the looks for comments, awards and sharing….no albums for our looks………….nothing!You deserted us amd left us hangimg for nothing! Do the right thing and tell us what is going on, quite simply, are you coming back or have we nothing to look forward to. What is the harm in at least showing us what is happening.
